Flange isolation kits are mechanical piping components designed to prevent galvanic corrosion between different metals by eliminating the formation of galvanic cells, as well as to block electrical current in systems with cathodic protection. They are widely used in industries such as LNG, natural gas, underground gas storage, and offshore operations.

Flange isolation kits consist of a gasket, sleeves, washers, and metal washers. The materials used for these kit components vary depending on the process requirements. Commonly used components are listed below.
